Whether it's yoga or a bodywork session. You have given yourself an allotted time to practice, relax, or destress. Your fellow students or therapists/teacher will appreciate if you:
Silence your phone including turning off vibration (in emergency situations discuss it with your teacher/therapists)
Do not check or be distracted by your phone or watch phone.
Leave your gum chewing and popping at home.
Ear buds remove them at the start of a yoga practice. During bodywork discuss it with your therapists.
In yoga respect your neighbors. Savasana, resting or corpse pose is a mindful opportunity to engage your parasympathetic system. If you continue to stretch, move, tap fingers, tap rings, wiggle, hum, chew gum or make noises. You're potentially stressing your neighbor(s) and/or teacher.
