About the event

A Yin Yoga Journey- Progressive Stretching Method


Grab your passport and prepare to set sails for an expedition into the world of Yin yoga. Yin yoga uses the yin and yang organ pairs (meridians) from ancient Chinese Medicine. Yin yoga holds traditional yoga poses for 3-5 minutes by working on the fascia and connective tissues. This body responds with renewed energy and gains flexibility as the mind is quiet and tension is released from the body. Props are used to guide your body closer to the Earth.


Each session is set to celebrate each element and its associated meridian (organ system pair) at its prime time.


You will:


*learn about the element and its meridian.

**be guided through yin yoga poses that serve and soothe the body for its associated element.
