Service Description

Online Option via Zoom. The practice of pranayama, in its many forms, gives us the opportunity to consciously connect to prana using the breath, and to use breath as a vehicle to move prana through the body. In doing this we open to a meditative state, bridging the gap between inner and outer selves, and help to facilitate healing and happiness in our lives. This 4 week series will explore 4 different breathing techniques: simple breath awareness (prana citta)and a gentle touch to guide it, full yogic breath (dirgha pranayama), and breath retention (viloma and kumbahka pranayamas). Progressing in this way you will gradually expand your proficiency of each practice at your own comfort level and at the degree most available to you. After the pranayama practice time will be spent in meditation to aid in the embodiment of your experience. Each class finishes in a short savasana to give you time to savor the sweetness you cultivated. Each class is 30 minutes long, and each week's classes will be the same material. The repeative classes help your retention to allow you to practice on your own. Drop into one class or as many classes you would like. Instructed by Krissy Matthew streamed online only via Zoom Drop in via Zoom is $15 Package of 4 is $52 Zoom Link will be emailed to you when you register for class. If you buy a package remember to book the classes paying with your package plan.
